Hook and Ladder

Ate lunch here today after MidDay Music at CBC just down the street. Had seen this restaurant and heard good things about it.

We had a good lunch but it 'lost something in the translation'. One entrée of Mrs. O’Leary’s Meatloaf [$9.95]: Meatloaf slices served with a mushroom sauce over [awesome] mashed potatoes & glazed baby carrots.
We ordered two orders of Caesar Salad with 'Marvelous Add-ons' of Calamari and Salmon Burger. We got one order of Fire Boat 2 Fried Calamari [$9.95] with a large Caesar Salad [$6.95] and an East Hampton Co. 3 Salmon Burger [$8.95]: Salmon mixed with seasonal vegetables, rolled in Panko bread crumbs & topped with citrus aioli on a roll with a side salad. BUT the seafood dishes were delicious [especially the salmon burger]. Better to be real specific about your order.

bloginfo: Great website here.
blognote: Good parking [free] at the rear of the restaurant; enter on John Street which runs parallel to Main.
