A friend introduced me to this terrific restaurant today and we had a super lunch. The Adriatic menu includes the Balkan Special section on the reverse which is easy to overlook. Don't do that! That's what we ordered and for the price it is so good. The waitstaff is excellent and helpful; I don't remember [or am able to pronounce] the individual parts of the meal but they guided us through this maze of delicious food. It is very meat and bread heavy reflecting the part of Bosnia that it represents. The bread on the platter served as a framing for some very good meat sandwiches with one or two of the spreads to play it up a notch. Everything had its own unique taste with subtle differences of flavor. I especially liked the smoky sausage. I can go on and on about this lavish display of real food. There was a lot left even though the two of us split the platter with two heavy take-out containers waiting to further intoxicate us! The bottle of Sauvignon Blanc that my host provided was an excellent addition to the meal. Desserts made in-house were very filling and flavorful. My next visit will be soon but not soon enough.
