Last night in Paris I ate at Le Grand Café Capucines and had one of the meals of the week.
This is definitely a beautiful restaurant in the grand old style. It is open 'jour et nuits' so you can something elegant to eat at anytime.
Started with the Soupe á l'Oignon which had that super cheese crust then filled with tender onions. Then on to the main course of Joue de Boeuf, delightful and filling dish of beef cheeks, potato and carrots.
Dessert was Profiteroles with ice cream and hot chocolate sauce. Eating here is such a pleasure as the room is as beautiful as the food.
