La Tour Café
Went out for a light lunch on a drive through Honolulu and ended up at the recommended La Tour Café. This is 'the best place for banh mi' according to all the locals I spoke to. Yes, the best I have ever had.
We both had the meatball banh mi [$9.50] which was the only variety offered that day. It was fresh and delicious on the best bread ever.
