Yesterday took a local Hartford artist friend for a despedida lunch to J; he's off to Brooklyn. Wasn't as successful as in the past. One Gyro [$10] which was a bit tough, his Panini Chicken [$10] and my good Salmon BLT [$14] which I have had in the past. They all came with fries [cold]. Ordered another batch [hot and tasteless]. He had a Baklava [$4] for dessert and we shared a very good Chocolate Mousse [$7]. Place was packed and service was just okay.
blognote: Hartford Restaurant Week this week and next so maybe they were just getting ready for that.
