VIDA @The Fontainebleau
Walked down to the Fontainebleu late morning lacking breakfast needing lunch. Found a great spot among the rich and famous!
Had a nice lunch here at VIDA, upscale coffee shop, downscale dining room.
Started with the soup of the day: Butternut Squash. This was not your ordinary butternut squash bisque. The soup had chunks of squash and had been thickened with coconut cream and sprinkled with ginger oil. Absolutely wonderful [$8].
Also had the Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich [$14] layered with Brie, Munster Havarti cheeses and sliced tomato. This came with a choice of fries, onion rings, potato salad or fruit. I chose the fruit and it was very fresh.
bloginfo: VIDA is in the Fontainebleau Resort on Collins Avenue, Miami Beach.
blognote: Perrier is the large bottle for $9.
