Younger son, KF, and brother-in-law, BD, visited today to help me out in rearranging furniture, doing electrical work and putting down a new floor in the bathroom. So, of course, we had to go out and have lunch...
Went to quiznos down the street in Cromwell. We have visited there many times but not the three of us together. KF had the Chicken Carbonara sub, BD and I had the Chicken Cabo sub [he had a small! and I had the regular size but ended up taking half of it home for supper]. The Chicken Cabo has the best of all worlds: Guacamole and Bacon! And it also has Chipotle mayonaisse. And it's toasted and then lots of veggies are added, even onions. What could be a better lunch?
The whole deal of three subs, three soft drinks and a bag of Baked Chips came to less than $20.
The winner was the whole deal, the whole schmear, the whole lunch. Who's ecstatic?
