Beautiful day for lunch at the Pond House Café and a ride in Elizabeth Park. The roses were a little passé but still as glamorous as the 'ladies who lunch' sitting all around us.
My California Grilled Cheese [$11.19] with apple wood smoked bacon, avocado, havarti cheese, chili lime aïoli and arugula on country bread was especially delicious! The side salad was moist and flavorful and the side of sweet potato fries [$3.96] was the perfect accompaniment.
