Pastrami On Wry

Visited Pastrami on Wry again today after walking out of one of their other restaurants, Chops and Catch. With only a 5 top on dessert and a 2 top with their entrées, the server just couldn't manage to wait on me in a timely manner. Then we it did come to ordering the salmon hadn't yet arrived so I went closer to my appointment and had a great lunch.

This is the Black, Bleu & Yellow Salad: Blackened chicken breast, baby greens, marinated tomatoes, chopped bacon, house dressing, bleu cheese crumbles and cheddar cheese [$7.50]. What a plate full of deliciousness and semi-dietary also!

Shady Glen too crowded and Suso's closed so where to go. Wandered into Pastrami on Wry and what a stroke of luck that was. This is the real thing! Had a wonderful lunch and will be back soon. I had the Irish Grilled Cheese: Irish cheddar, house-made corned beef, spicy mustard, pickle [$6.75] and guest had the Traditional Reuben: House-made corned beef or pastrami, kraut, 1000 island dressing,  and   swiss cheese on grilled Wry [$6.25].

blognote: the sandwiches all come with fab coleslaw and a pickle AND the choice of one more: potato salad, macaroni salad, chips, whole wheat spinach and feta pasta salad, marinated bean salad or asian style broccoli slaw
