Rojo Mexican Lobster???

Younger son,KF, and I were out for a good dinner and looking for Mexican food. On the Border in Wethersfield was jampacked on a Thursday so we went down the street to www.redlobster.com .

We got a booth after only a five minute wait. Lela, our server, greeted us and continued to charm us through the whole meal. She is the epitome of a good waitperson!

First to arrive with our drinks was a basket of the famous and delicious Cheese Biscuits. Started with the New England Sampler for a shared appetizer. This consisted of Bacon-wrapped Sea Scallops; Lobster, Crab and Seafood Stuffed Mushroom Caps and Fried Clam Strips [$7.99].

KF had the Broiled Seafood Platter: Bay Scallops, Shrimp Scampi and Stuffed Fish and a Salt Baked Potato [$13.75]. I had the Beer Battered Fish and Chips [$13.75]. Both entrées came with a side Garden Salad.

Skipped dessert and took a large portion of Fish and Chips home along with three Cheese Biscuits.

The winners were the Cheese Biscuits and the Stuffed Mushrooms.
