Had a fantastic brunch at Pond House Grille today. The three of us enjoyed terrific food, great service and a sweet bottle of Codorniu Cava [$28]. Three entrées, all super, and inventively plated and priced. Pear and Brie Omelette [$8.67] was pronounced very good especially the included cornbread. The Pond House Benedict [$12.03] had a super crab cake holding up the deliciousness. My entrée was, of course, the best: the Pond House interpretation of Hash [$11.13] a beautiful diced corned beef and potato mixture topped with a poached egg and Hollandaise sauce. In a word, perfect!
blognote: the picture is of orchids rather than food because the food was so enticing I forgot to take a picture. Mr. Instant Gratification strikes again.
