Excellent al fresco lunch on the back patio of this little hidden gem. Let me tell you that The Schoolhouse at Cannondale is a fine find!
I started with a glass of Bordeaux Blanc [$12] to go with my Gazpacho [$10] with chili oil. Made with heirloom tomatoes and was smooth but needed a bit more verve. The PEI Mussels [$18] in a coconut curry cream were excellent and the superb frites made the dish perfect. The Beet Salad [$12] with fresh apricots and the Duck Confit [$21] on the other side of the table looked excellent. I did steal on apricot and it was juicy and sweet.
