Made reservations at Bin228 across from Theater Works because we were going to Jason Werner's Opening at EBK Gallery. Table turned out to be one of those little banquette deals and too crowded for convo so we ended up in the bar. This was a little hightop with not a lot of room for food and we were hungry.
Ordered a lot of food: Paté [$15] duck terrine was good size and quite tasty with the appropriate accoutrements. This with a glass of Rosé Cotes du Rhone, my new snob ['this is what I was drinking in Paris']. Then we each ordered different Paninis: Flank Steak [$10] with roasted red peppers, caramelized onion, mozzarella and Fig [$11] with prosciutto, fig compote, caramelized onions, asiago. Both were delicious!
